Forum Rules! (please read)

Wotcher! and welcome to a squeaky clean forum!

For a forum to run and work well, there has got to be rules (of course) but i'm not going to go totalitarian on you, so don't worry! All i want is a nice forum where we can have good discussions without anything getting out of hand!

basic rules for the forum (may be subject to change)

1. All are equal, and no-one is more equal than others.
2. We reply to eachother with respect and common courtesy, i will not tolerate any rude, snidey comments.
3. No insulting/flaming eachother. If you have a problem, discuss it KINDLY over personal messages.
4. If you have made a comment deemed innapropriate, you will be cautioned. You carry on, you will face temporary ban, and if the problem persists, permanent ban (please don't make me do that because i don't think i actually know HOW lol)
5. You are free to discuss Mary McDonnell and Edward James Olmos but hurtful speculation about their personal lives and any comments about their family are off-limits. It's a site for THEM as actors and amazing people, not their families.
6. Images must be suitable, and no pictures of their families should be posted in their forum. Please respect their privacy!
7. Any information regarded as spoilery should be indicated as such and contained to the spoiler thread, and any images deemed spoilery should not be posted, but feel free to put the link as long as you warn that it is spoilery and keep it in the spoiler thread!!
8. If you have any queries or want to report a comment, please tell me at once and i'll see to it.

If a member violates any of the rules they get a warning. Each member is allowed up to three warnings; after that, if they are not compliant they get a temporary expulsion (maybe a few days); if they are still not compliant, they get a permanent ban.
Again, this would be someone who flames publicly and privately; someone who posts inappropriate topics of photos, etc. Essentially the basic rules. (credit to Garbo for this rule)

The rules are great. They`re common sense, and common sense rules.

My main concern at the moment is....why does this smiley --> not move? It`s weird .

I saw this posted over at Sciffy where I have lurked for years and just had to say 'hi'. I don't post over there because, quite frankly, it seems like far too much work to be really part of the group, though I have enjoyed reading your comments for quite a while. Maybe I'll feel more comfortable posting over here. So thanks for creating this forum with rules that are fair and make everybody equal. *hugs and kisses*
