Well guys, guess what I got my hands on today?

A BSG Season finale Cast and Crew book!!!!

It is fantastic to look at and has so many great pictures in it.

THERE ARE HARDLY ANY SPOILERS IN IT FOR SEASON 4.5 despite recent posts.

The only truth is that "A/R fans WILL pee their pants". I cant say anymore than that, in the spirit of secrecy and protecting the integrety of the show.

I have been reading it on and off all day. I'm so high on A/R right now!

Yep I certainly am enjoying it. It really is a nice collectable and full of great behind the scenes photos.
It has a special cd in the back with 20 of Bear's fav tracks from seasons 1-4. I havent played it yet though.
It truly is special and I shall treasure it dearly. I wish I could show you all. Maybe I will try and post some of pages on here when I get a little time.

any posts are very much appreciated here thankyou for telling us all you have one! i'm such a hapy bunny just THINKING about the book, you must be ecstatic!

we understand that you want to keep spoilers to yourself to protect the show, very noble of you! i like it! Maybe when the show starts up again and is airing we could see some more posts about what is said in the book? So we can watch an episode, discuss what happens and you can sit there and go "mwahaha you crazy fools! i knew it was gonna happen!"

I love the way it looks like a family portrait with Mama and Daddy Adama standing at the highest point, surrounded by their children.

Ummh, the photo made a question recur in my mind: if there is a home world and twelve colonies, why are there only twelve cylon models. Shouldn't there be thirteen? Okay, maybe it's explained in seasons two or three. Just finished season one. Two and three are next on my agenda. Please don't get exasperated with newbie questions. Disjointed viewing (seasons one and four, without two and three yet) do bad things to the mind.

newbie questions? but you're not a newbie! lol no-one here is a newbie, no matter how many episodes we've seen or not seen. We're all here because we like A/R, and so no-one is a newbie

I'm not sure where to put this, but it seems potentially spoilerish. Because I came to this series at the end of 4.0, you guys may have already had this discussion. If all this has happened before, disregard.

I've just finished the fifth dvd in season three (plus having seen most of 4.0). When D'anna "visited" the opera house, her shock and abject apology when she addressed (apparently) the fifth cylon got me thinking. Between the 4.5 trailer, when Tigh says "you're the fifth" in an astonished voice, and D'anna's reaction at the opera house, coupled with Leoben's comment "Adama is a cylon," I think I have an idea about the fifth cylon. If my memory serves me correctly, there is only one "human" both Tigh and D'anna spent a lot of time with, and only one crew member (and that includes changeling Lee!) who bears a resemblance to Admiral Adama: Felix Gaeta. He is the technical expert in the CIC! Very cylonish. And I haven't been able to find much of a biography on the character. And he isn't in The Last Supper. If he is related to Adama on his mother's side, he is an Adama (are the cylons a matrilineal or patrilineal society since, technically, they have no mothers and fathers as we think of them; I'm not sure that's ever been made clear?). There appears to be no "rule" that says a cylon can't suffer horrible injuries; before the hub destructions, they probably would have just killed themselves and started over. Even so, in Gaeta's case, he could not have done that without giving himself away. My lingering question is, if true, has he known all along that he's the fifth, or will it be revealed to him in 4.5?

These are some interesting points you've got there, though I can't quite follow all of them. Why would the fifth cylon need to look like Adama? If you're referring to Leoben's comment, I'm not sure if we can take this as any sort of evidence, after all, Leoben liked to play with the humans' minds in that episode. Except for the part with the Last Supper picture, the final cylon could just as well be Baltar, if you base your conclusion on D'Anna's and Tigh's reaction alone.

As for final five and injuries: You're right, they can suffer horrible injuries, Tigh and his missing eye are "living" proof.

Of course, you could be right in your suggestion, I'm just grasping at straws here, because I really, really don't want Gaeta to be the final cylon . Him being the final cylon would just not have the same impact on the other characters on the show and on the audience as for instance Bill or Baltar, simply because his role has been far too small in the show, imo.
